D-Bol or Dianabol was the first oral steroid to be created after testosterone and was originally produced under the trade name Methandrostenolone/Methandienone. In fact, DBol is very much similar to testosterone except that it’s a 17 alpha-alkylated oral steroid. In other words, being a 17aa steroid means Dianabol can make it into the blood stream without being destroyed when it passes through the liver.

Like most steroids, Dbol is a great choice for bulking cycles. It’s mostly used as a kick-starter steroid for massive gains in muscle and strength during the first 4 to 6 weeks of a bulking cycle. With the right dose, Dianabol stimulates protein metabolism and a positive nitrogen balance for greater anabolic activity.

The role of Dianabol in a Dbol-test cycle is to induce quick gains in the first four to six weeks. This provides ample time for the longer ester injectable steroid to take effect and maintain your gains as you come off D Bol.

In order to jump-start production of new muscle tissue, start with 25 to 30 mg of D-bol a day for the first four weeks.

D Bol has a half-life of about 5 hours, so if you choose to go with 30mg per day, ideally you should take 10mg in between meals after every five hours.

So, if you have breakfast at 8am, take your first dosage at that time, followed by the second dosage at 1pm (lunch), and the final dosage at 6pm (supper).

Many bodybuilders have reported rapid muscle gains with the above dosage.

Testosterone Dosage in a Dbol Testosterone E Cycle
The Test E cycle typically lasts 12 weeks. During this period, begin with 250mg of test e per week. You can always raise the daily dose up to 750mg, although it’s wise to start on the lower side first to see how your body reacts.

Depending on the dosage level you choose (between the range of 250 to 750mg), you can further split the dose in half to take test e twice a week.

If you’re using test cyp as your injectable steroid of choice, the recommended dosage is 200 to 800mg per week.

Dianabol vs. Testosterone
A common question – from beginners considering their first cycle is – why stack steroids together if they produce a similar result? Well, in terms of results, Dbol produces faster gains in muscle mass and strength than testosterone. That said, D-Bol has more side effects and is toxic to the liver. That’s why it should only be used for a 4 to 6 week period. For a safer alternative to D-Bol we recommend this.

The flipside, is that testosterone is less toxic given the fact that it isn’t a class of 17aa steroid. It’s the only androgenic hormone the body naturally manufactures. Adding it to your cycle plan will reduce the toxin burden that Dianabol puts on your liver. While these steroids deliver similar results, there’s an advantage in using a Test DBol cycle.

Because Dianabol tends to suppress the body’s natural testosterone production, a Dbol Test cycle ensures you’re still getting the testosterone your body normally produces.

In short, testosterone is better for longer bulking cycles while the Dianabol cycle produces faster results. Using them together ensures your muscle growth doesn’t disappear as quickly as you’ve gained them.
